Learn the art of 8 limbs: strikes with your hands, shins, elbows and knees. You will also learn footwork, defensive maneuvers, how to shadowbox/train with a heavy bag (not required for class), and have the opportunity to develop your own fighting style. Class will also include breathing and neural training drills to improve function, performance and overall health. Great for learning self defense and improving cardiovascular strength, agility, coordination, reaction time and confidence. Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and has been recently recognized as an official Olympic sport.
